Sea salt is recommended over table salt and is even healthier! The Black Pearl is a Hawaiian sea salt that contains activated charcoal which is said to detox the body. The Ruby Red is also known as Alae, Alaea and Red Hawaiian Salt, which Alaea (mineral) is translated to volcanic baked red clay is added to enrich the iron oxide in the salt. The Silver Jasper and Topaz Yellow salts contain natural coloring agents (activated charcoal, titanium dioxide, mica) to give the salts it distinct colors. The Sapphire Blue and Emerald Green salts are artificially colored with food-grade coloring agents.
