Description:
White pepper is from the dried clean, mature berries of Piper nigrum L. from which the outer and inner hulls have been removed. It has a light yellowish to yellowish gray with black specks. Its flavor is similar to black pepper, but less pungent and harsh.
Shelf life is up to one year.
Uses:
Meat, salads, chicken, soups and most dishes.
