8 large
carrots, cut into 1/4" slices
1/3 cup
olive oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons chopped basil (fine)
Steam
carrots for 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
Heat the oil, maple syrup and basil until hot. Add the carrots
and toss until the carrots are well coated. SERVES 4
