Caraway
seed is the dried fruit of Carum carvi L. It is grayish tan with five
light-colored ridges with a sweet, spicy, and slightly minty aroma.
It's flavor is pleasant and warm with a bitter aftertaste.
Shelf life is up to one year.
USES:
rye bread, sausage cheese and soups.
