Cardamom
is from the dried, nearly ripe, decorticated fruit of Elettaria cardamonum
L. Maton. A member of the ginger family. It's color is brown with
black specks with an aromatic, sweet aroma similar to ginger. It has
a warm, slightly pungent flavor.
